Today, Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves met with Colombia’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism Germán Umaña Mendoza to discuss bilateral commercial relations, including Colombia’s industrialization plans and opportunities for cooperation in areas such as climate change and clean energy development, infrastructure development, digital connectivity, and small and medium-size enterprises, including Diaspora-owned businesses. Deputy Secretary Graves reaffirmed the United States’ continued commitment to deepen the U.S.-Colombia commercial relationship to advance inclusive economic growth in the two countries.
