Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Liesje Schreinemacher to discuss the robust U.S.-Netherlands commercial relationship and ongoing collaboration on a range of issues. The two also discussed the 4th Ministerial-level U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) meeting in May and other opportunities to enhance transatlantic trade relations. The Secretary acknowledged the vital role that the Netherlands plays in the global semiconductor industry, and noted that coordinating with our European partners is a critical component of implementing the CHIPS and Science Act programs.
